How to integrate Grasshopper with an NSER.AI phone number
Log in to your Grasshopper account.
Navigate to Settings > Call Forwarding Settings > Extensions.
Select the number or extension you want to forward.
Enter the forwarding number. This could be another phone number, a voicemail, or a combination.
Configure how Grasshopper should handle incoming calls. This includes options like ringing the forwarding number immediately or after a certain number of rings.
Define the time frame for which the forwarding rule applies. You can set up rules for specific times, days, or even custom schedules.
Choose the order in which Grasshopper should call multiple numbers. For example, you can set up sequential forwarding or simultaneous ringing.
Click "Save" or "Update" to save your settings.
To ensure your AI agent knows incoming caller ID, customize your call forwarding settings within your Grasshopper account.
Navigate to the "Options" for your forwarding number and select "show the caller's ID". This will ensure that the recipient's caller ID, rather than your Grasshopper number, is displayed when you forward a call.
